About Us

Buckshot Pheasant Hunts is located in Presho, SD, which is a farming and ranching community of about 600 residents. For 20 years we have been offering a small town experience and a relaxing atmosphere to help hunters get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the worker's world. The vast type of land we operate on provides for excellent bird survival and reproduction. We estimated that we harvested over 1,800 wild Roosters in 2010.

Land Available

5000 acres of corn, sorghum, milo, CRP, food plots, grassland, draws, sloughs and stock dams.

Pheasants:
2 days/3 nights is $600/person
3 days/4 nights is $875/person
4 days/5 nights is $1,150/person
5 days/6 nights is $1,425/person

Lodging

Lodging is included in the above prices and packages. The houses are fully furnished and have cable TV. Meals are not furnished but there are several eating establishments in Presho. Presho also has a campground, a hardware store, grocery stores, and gambling is located about 45 miles away on the Lower Brule Sioux Indian Reservation.

Meals

Presho has a grocery store and restaurants. The houses are fully furnished to cook your own meal.

Transportation

On own, Presho also has a small airport.
