About Us
On a beautiful piece of land high above the Missouri River near Springfield, South Dakota, two lodges await you’re arrival. Cogan House Lodge and North Lodge have something for everyone. The prime hunting land and large farming operation provide an awesome backdrop for finding the perfect shot – weather that is with a gun, an arrow or a camera. At Cogan House the panoramic views of the Lewis and Clark Lake on the Missouri River and the log-cabin style lodge are just the beginning of your experience. The personal service will make you feel like one of the family. The laid-back lifestyle will encourage relaxation. With room for 12, this quaint lodge welcomes hunters, couples, families, business travelers and history enthusiasts. North Lodge is the more self-sufficient sister to Cogan House. This refurbished homestead has everything you need to relax in comfort: warm beds, a fully-equipped kitchen, an inviting screened-in porch, ample parking for boats or trailers and more. This comfortable old house is functional with a casual elegance that makes you want to sit back, relax and enjoy the good things in life.
Land Available
3,500 + acres of corn, sorghum, Milo, CRP, food plots, tree strips, grassland, and shelter belts.
Game Offered
Pheasant: Semi guided pheasant hunt is $125 day per person. Semi guided hunt with 3 full meals is $175 per day per person. Guided hunts are $250 per gun per day. Guided hunts with 3 meals, lodging and bird cleaning are $390 per person per day. We also have a Trap Shooting facility to warm up on before hitting the field.
Duck and Spring Goose: Guided hunts are $250 per person per day. Guided hunts with meals are $325 per person per day.
Archery Deer: 5 days/ 5 nights unguided Archery deer hunts are $500. Extra days are $100 per day. We have some stands in good areas but you are welcome to bring your own. Excellent opportunity to harvest a 125 to 150 buck.
Archery Spring Turkey: Turkey hunts are $50 per day. Blind hunting in the morning and spot and stalk in the afternoon! Lots of Turkeys!!
Fishing: $230 per person per day. This package includes, boat, rod, reels and noon lunch. Nonresident 3 day fishing license is $15. Half day fishing is $150, and then let’s go shoot some roosters in the afternoon.
Golf Package: 3 days 4 nights stay for 2 people, 18 holes for the price of 9 each day at the Springfield Golf Course, golf cart included, 4 full breakfasts. $345 tax included on Monday – Thursday, $425 tax included on Friday – Sunday.
ATV Package: 3 days 4 nights stay for 2 people. 2 days of riding at ATV Park (must furnish your own ATV) 4 full breakfast. $325 tax included. Enjoy 3,000 private acres of riding.
Artist Package: Here is a weekend package for 2 people staying in one room. Includes 3 days and 2 nights, Friday night meal, 3 meals on Saturday and 2 meals on Sunday. All meals are family style. This package is $275 for 2.
Lodging
The Cogan House: $65 per room double occupancy (no meals) The North Lodge: $55 per room double occupancy (no meals) camping for campers, full hookup $16 night.
Meals
Meals can be included $50 per day, or on own.
Transportation
To and from the fields. Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged also.
